Hi my loves!! I have been looking on Eloquii’s website for years and have never made a purchase. When I was in Chicago last year, I even went in the store and shopped around but left empty handed. I lust after their items, but for some reason never followed through with a purchase until now. This time I did it, I ordered two dresses, a pair of jeans and two tops. I will be doing a try on haul on youtube, so if you are not subscribed to my channel you need to head over there and sub and hit the bell so you don’t miss any new uploads. First let me say, everything fit! Which is always awesome when trying out a new brand and not sure on sizing. So, lets get to their first feature on the blog, Trying out Eloquii, Flirty Plus Size Look.
The Look
Eloquii has some beautiful pieces, they are on the pricey side but run really good sales. I was able to get my entire order 40% off. The first thing I added to my cart was this Contrast Ruffle Wrap Dress. I am a sucker for a ruffle, and this dress features ruffles at the neckline and at the hem. Being curvy, a wrap dress is a go to silhouette for me. It offers you the ability to cinch in the waist area yet have a flowing drape over the hips. The print is so pretty on top of a navy background and I love the contrasting navy and white print in the ruffles. I kept the accessories very simple with a black clutch and black strappy heels.
The Fit
I ordered this in a size 18 and it fits wonderful! It is a true wrap dress, so it does open all the way up. Give yourself enough room to keep all the necessary bits covered. The length falls right above the knee at the longest and angles up from the sides into the wrap. Sleeves were great, no issues with them being too tight and they drape beautifully. I chose to tie it in the front where the wrap meets but the ties are long enough to tie it in the back or wherever you prefer.
