Hello my loves! August is upon us, that means we are officially over half way through 2019, when tf when did that happen? I know most stores are already pulling out the pumpkins and Christmas trees but in Alabama it will be hot af well into October! I am still buying summer looks and will be for a while. If you are a Torrid shopper, then you know all about Haute Cash, these are coupons that you get depending on how much you spend and they will save you money for later purchases. I had a bunch of haute cash last month and decided to spend it all for a Youtube haul and this bomb Plus Size Boho Bralette Look!

This isn’t my first time featuring Torrid on the blog you can see more looks here and here but let’s get on to today’s look!

I pretty much put this outfit together in my head and then had to find all the pieces to make it happen. Y’all flares are back, did you know that? I was hesitant at first because I have not put a pair of flare jeans on my body since middle school, when flare glitter jeans were the shit! Anyone remember glitter jeans? They were basically jeans that someone had covered in spray adhesive and dipped in glitter. There were AWESOME and horrible at the same time, I left a trail everywhere I went.
I finally decided to take the plunge into wide leg goodness once again, and to be honest, fell back in love with them. Now, the first two pair I ordered from Chic Soul and although I love them, I have to wear my tallest wedges to make up for the length. Then I saw that Torrid had these Stretch Jegging Flares in short and my 5’3 self instantly added to cart. I knew I wanted to rock a bralette to let these beauties shine and one cannot have too many lace items so this blush ruana had to be mine!! The look turned out exactly as I had hoped. Boho realness with a cool Instagram girl esthetic, maybe that should have been the name of this blog post!
The Deets
Fit wise, I have to size up in Torrid jeans. Maybe it is all the weight I carry in my BLT (booty/belly, legs and thighs). These were no different, I am wearing a 22 here and they fit great! Perfect length for flats and high waisted enough to show the perfect peek of belly!
The bralette I am wearing is a Torrid size 2, it is on the see through side so I have a black Torrid 360 back smoothing bra underneath. Which, honestly with the size of my girls (DD), most bralettes require some assistance with support. The Ruana, which I like to refer to as a caftan, is not sized. It is more of a shawl piece, it simply drapes over your shoulders, the lace on this piece is GORGEOUS!
For accessories, I kept with the boho feel. Layered gold necklaces from Boohoo that I cannot get enough of, seriously, I have like 10 different ones in different lengths! Also, ever since Mexico, I have been into hats. This one I ordered off amazon because I had the cream one for vacay and loved it! I felt like it was the legit cherry on top of this look! I grabbed some flat gold braided sandals for footwear and I was out the door!
